There are a variety of things that you can do to increase your endurance. You just need to tweak a few aspects of  your training. Regardless of the race distance, optimizing these three techniques will help increase endurance for just about any runner.



As a runner, it is  also  very  important that you cross train. Endurance running, especially marathons, requires whole body-conditioning. To achieve this you should aim to work a variety of muscle groups and not just your legs.
