Smoothie Bowl Recipes
I have been on a smoothie bowl kick lately. Just looking at the pictures makes my mouth water. They’re a great nutritious twist on cereal don’t you think? These bowls are great for breakfast, as a post-workout meal, or even for dessert . The combinations you create are limitless. These super foods bowls include are bee pollen, maca powder, lucuma, cocoa nibs, spirulina, cinnamon, young coconut meat, unsweetened shredded coconut, coconut water, avocados, chia seeds, hemp seeds, matcha tea powder, nut milks, raw gluten-free oats…..way too many to mention! For all of the recipes below, just blend together and ad your toppings. ?
Pumpkin Smoothie Bowl
INGREDIENTS
1½ overripe sliced and frozen bananas
½ cup pumpkin puree (canned pumpkin)
¾ cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
1-2 Medgool dates, pitted (for sweetness)
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Optional: 1 scoop brown rice protein powder
Toppings: pumpkin fig granola

INGREDIENTS
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup mixed berries
vanilla protein
3/4 cup coconut bubbles
Topped with granola

INGREDIENTS

1/2 banana

1 cup water

INGREDIENTS
1 cup blueberries
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup spinach

1 cup homemade almond milk
1/4 cup frozen strawberries
1 scoop protein powder

Spirulina and Lucuma Smoothie Bowl

1 1/2 frozen banana
1/2 ripe banana
1 tsp lucuma powder
1 tsp spirulina powder
Toppings-blue berries, granola, etc.
(spirulina is a great source of protein that contains all the essential amino acids in perfect balance
& lucuma is a good source of dietary fiber that aids digestion)
